Update on New PAWS version and Banner 9

Information Technology (IT) is working on rolling out a new version of PAWS (Banner Self Service). The University System of Georgia Information Technology Services (USG ITS) mandated that all existing Banner 8 (PAWS) modules be discontinued effective March 30, 2024.

One of the requirements stipulated by USG ITS is institutions must configure their Banner version 9 solutions to use single-sign-on (SSO) and multifactor authentication (MFA). IT configured this new Banner 9 self-service (PAWS) to utilize your Georgia College credentials and DUO MFA authentication.

The new version of PAWS is now available concurrently with the old version of PAWS. IT is working on a new tile within Unify or MyGCSU. The old version of PAWS will be removed from Unify and MyGCSU on Monday, March 25, 2024.
