2024 Honors Giving Challenge for New Orleans Program
2024 Honors Giving Challenge for New Orleans Program
The Honors College’s 2024 Giving Challenge kicked off yesterday and runs through Friday, April 12. Generous donors have already given more than $1300 toward the $4000 goal. And that is on top of support provided over the last few months by the Honors Advisory Board and a matching gift by `89 alumnus Dr. Roger Best. Please help us secure the remaining amount by giving as you are able to and, just as importantly, by spreading the word to friends and colleagues. We are raising funds to underwrite the cost of a fall break trip to New Orleans for up to 40 Honors students, including those in Dr. Brian Newsome’s Honors course on World War II. Students will explore the French Quarter and visit both the World War II Museum and the Whitney Plantation. Thank you for your support.
