GCSU earns No. 6 seed in PBC Men's Tennis Tournament
AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University has earned the No. 6 seed in the 2024 Peach Belt Conference Men's Tennis Tournament that will be held in Columbus, Georgia, this weekend.
The Bobcats (4-14 overall, 0-5 PBC) earned the sixth seed and will face No. 3 seed University of North Georgia (12-6, 3-2) in a 3 p.m.. first-round match Friday (April 26) at the John W. Walden Tennis Center. The No. 8-ranked Nighthawks defeated GCSU 7-0 last weekend in Dahlonega, Georgia.
The winner of the GCSU-UNG match will face the No. 2 seed Columbus State University, which is ranked No. 5 nationally, in Saturday's (April 27) 1 p.m. semifinal match.
The championship match of the single-elimination tournament will be at 1 p.m. Sunday (April 28).
The winner of the PBC Tournament will earn the conference's automatic berth for the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Tournament.
