Beginning June 1, 2024, the outdoor pool at the Georgia College & State University Centennial Center will be made available for public use through the Baldwin County, Department of Parks and Recreation. Baldwin County will have specific operation hours and will charge a per person entry fee. To request additional information call the County Recreation Department at (478) 445-0785.
At this time we expect the County's Operation Hours to be as follows, however, please double check the County's website for possible changes:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday - Friday: 9 a.m. - noon and 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Outside of the County's operation hours, the Centennial Pool can be reserved by GCSU departments for university related purposes, such as the Summer/Athletic Camps. Lifeguard fees will apply. To register your child for summer camp, visit https://cpe.gcsu.edu/camp/category/category.aspx.
Please note:
- Current GCSU students can show their student Bobcat ID card to be exempt from paying the county's entry fee.
- The pool may be closed for cleaning, repairs, bad weather or other issues with little or no advance notice.
- Due to the costs associated with pool operations, the Centennial Pool is no longer available for exclusive use by GCSU employees and their families.
