SoCPS comprises six units including: Communities in Schools, Historic Museums, Production Services, Afterschool Achievement, Academic Outreach and Continuing & Professional Education. SoCPS Executive Director Angela Criscoe and all six unit directors voted to honor Baldwin County Schools with the award.

Dr. Price, superintendent of the BCSD, said, "We are honored and humbled by this award."
