Perusall is a free digital tool for annotating and discussing texts, images and videos. It is ideal for courses in the humanities, social sciences, and STEM. For the instructor who wishes to assign writing tasks outside the classroom without the aid of ChatGPT and other AI tools, Perusall offers an excellent solution. Participants in this workshop will learn from Cynthia Alby what makes Perusall pedagogically sound and how it will help students be successful. The second part will be a tutorial from Alison Shepherd in syncing Perusall to a course site in GeorgiaView.
