Faculty Are Invited to Honors Convocation

Honors Convocation, at which new Honors students are inducted into the Eta Sigma Alpha Honors student association, will be held on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 1:00 p.m. in the Arts & Sciences Auditorium. Faculty are invited to attend and to process in their regalia at the start of the ceremony and at its conclusion. Please register by Sept. 19 via the embedded link or the QR code in the flier.

Honors Convocation is positioned during Family Weekend so that parents/guardians may attend. It is a great opportunity to connect with the new Honors students and to welcome their families.

Anna Whiteside, Assistant Director of the Honors College and the university’s National Scholarships Coordinator, will deliver the keynote address, and participants will enjoy a dessert reception in the Library Atrium at the conclusion of the ceremony.
