Brendan Rigsbee named to preseason All-Peach Belt Team
AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University Men's Basketball player Brendan Rigsbee has been named to the preseason All-Peach Belt Conference Team.
Rigsbee, a junior guard from Suwanee, Georgia, was named to the All-Peach Belt second team in 2023-24. Rigsbee led the Bobcats in points (486), scoring average (16.8), minutes played per game (31.7), assists (75) and steals (23). He was second in rebounding average (5.5) and blocked shots (28) and third in total rebounds (160). The two-time Peach Belt Player of the Week last season started 28 of the 29 games played. Rigsbee connected on 48.0 percent shots from the floor (172-of-358), including 34-of-78 (.436) from three-point range. He also shot 73.0 percent (108-of-148) from the charity stripe.
Rigsbee was fourth in the conference in free throws attempted (148), fifth in field goals made (172), in field goal percentage (.480), in total points (486) and scoring average (16.8) and in free throws made (108), seventh in field goals attempted (358) and eighth in total blocks (28).
