Graduate Thesis/Dissertation Resource Guide

Graduate Thesis/Dissertation Resource Guide

Are you a graduate student needing assistance preparing your thesis or dissertation for submission to the Knowledge Box, Georgia College & State University’s institutional repository?  Russell Library is here to help! Our Graduate Thesis/Dissertation Resource Guide is a great resource for students who have completed a thesis or dissertation and are ready to submit it. Keep in mind the following:

  • In addition to submitting their thesis or dissertation to the repository, students must complete a revokable non-exclusive deposit agreement, which gives the library permission to publish their research online. Students retain copyright to their research and may publish it elsewhere, if desired.
  • Students may elect to delay access to the full text of their research for a period of their choosing or indefinitely. See the non-exclusive deposit agreement for more information.
  • Although not required, students may also submit their thesis or dissertation to the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses database. When a student makes their work available through this database, they are increasing the exposure of their work to a global academic community through this and other ProQuest databases.  Additionally, this service also offers students the opportunity to purchase bound copies of their theses or dissertations.
