Georgia College’s Russell Library has partnered with the Twin Lakes Library System, which received a $49,000 grant from the Institute for Museum and Library Services, for a project preserving the history of Central State Hospital.  The grant will help the entities document the oral history of what was once the largest mental health hospital in the world.  “Central State's story has been told from the viewpoint of the state of Georgia through volumes of reports and official documents,”...

Russell Library faculty and staff are asking faculty, staff, and students to continue to hold onto the library items they currently have checked out. This includes Russell Library books, DVDs, and equipment, as well as Interlibrary Loan materials and GIL Express books. All Russell Library and GIL Express items that were previously due on 5/1/2020 are now due back on 8/8/2020. This includes items currently checked out to graduating seniors.
