ALERTT TRAINING ACTIVE SHOOTER TRAINING

GCSU Department of Public Safety, along with our partners from the FBI, GBI, BCSO and MPD, will be conducting ALERTT Active Shooter training next week.

The training will take place Monday, Jan. 6, through Thursday, Jan. 9, starting at 8 a.m. and running to 5 p.m. in the Arts and Science Building.  We will be confined to the first and second floor on the north end of the building in classrooms, and away from the office areas.

Training areas will also be adequately marked and partitioned off to alert anyone of our presence and the proximity to training.
