On the night of Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, a vehicle in the Centennial parking lot was entered, and items were taken. The investigation is currently ongoing.The vehicle had not been locked, and several items were left visible inside. Parts of Greene Street will be closed this Friday, Aug. 23, from 2 p.m. until 12 a.m. for the Welcome Back Block Party. Greene Street will be closed starting at Columbia Street and extending to Tattnall Street. To prepare for the road closure, all vehicles in this area need to be moved by 2 p.m. this Friday, Aug. 23. All vehicles left parked in this area will be subject to being towed.
