GCSU is now officially StormReady!

We're proud to share that Georgia College & State University has been recognized by the National Weather Service as a StormReady campus, joining a select group of institutions nationwide that have demonstrated exceptional preparedness for severe weather events.

This achievement is the result of months of coordination, planning and training led by our Emergency Manager, Jeremy Nobles. Jeremy’s dedication, attention to detail and leadership ensured that GCSU met or exceeded every requirement of the StormReady program — from communication systems and emergency operations to community outreach and severe weather drills.

Being StormReady means that GCSU is better equipped to protect our students, faculty and staff before, during and after hazardous weather conditions.
