Final Reminder: Complete your migration to Microsoft OneDrive and/or SharePoint

As we approach the conclusion of our data storage migration, we’d like to remind you that the transition period for personal “Q” Drives will end on Jan. 31, 2025. This is a significant upgrade for our university, providing enhanced accessibility, collaboration and security through Microsoft OneDrive.

What You Need to Do

1. Migrate Your Files: Ensure all files from your "Q" drive and departmental shared drives are transferred to OneDrive.
   • Delete unused or outdated files before migration.
   • Avoid using files during migration to prevent file locking, which could hinder the process.
2. Confirm Deletion: If you no longer use the “Q” drive, reply to confirm we can delete the files on your behalf.

Shared Department Drives
If you are part of a departmental shared drive, please assign a member of your team to oversee the migration. The drive details and members were provided in prior communications. Please note the transition period for Departmental Shared Drives will end on Feb. 14, 2025.
