Learn about sports broadcasting this Maymester 2025 in Inside Sports Broadcasting course

Inside Sports Broadcasting will provide students with an overview of sports television broadcasting. Topics covered include the early years of sports television, the founding of ESPN and its impact on sports telecasts, how sporting events are produced for television, advertising’s influence on the business of sports broadcasting and the political and cultural impact on sports.

This course is 100% online. Four weeks in May. No live or scheduled course sessions. Complete weekly classwork on your own time. The course is open to all undergraduate students on campus.
