2024-2025 Staff Performance Evaluations
2024-2025 Staff Performance Evaluations
The Office of Human Resources hoped to utilize the ePerformance module within OneUSG for the evaluation period of Feb. 1, 2024 – Jan. 31, 2025. In reviewing where that initiative currently stands:
- System: Further understanding is needed of the back-end set-up, workflow sequencing and end-user experience. Testing items are still pending to ensure our employees and managers have a successful experience with OneUSG ePerformance.
- Staffing: With the departure of three full-time HR employees during 2024, day-to-day business continuity became the priority over special projects.
- Campus deliverables: Thank you to the 98% of managers who have vetted and returned job profiles to us. While the staffing challenges cited above have inhibited our pace of loading these into OneUSG for your use, we will continue to focus on that effort, as well as following up with the last 2% since these job responsibilities comprise 30% of the evaluation criteria and score. We have also not been able to confirm that all prior evaluations established the goal setting components that comprise another 30% of the employee’s evaluation criteria and score.
Given these considerations, we will utilize the existing evaluation process for one more review cycle. The expected action items and timeline for completion can be found here: https://my.gcsu.edu/human-resources/performance-management-0. From this webpage, navigate to HR forms (see menu on right side of screen), Employee Relations. The four forms available are titled:
- Non-Exempt Self-Evaluation Form (optional, employee completes)
- Non-Exempt Evaluation Form (required, supervisor completes)
- Exempt Self-Evaluation Form (optional, employee completes)
- Exempt Evaluation Form (required, supervisor completes)
All completed evaluations will be submitted via email, not via interoffice mail, to evals@gcsu.edu by March 28, 2025.
The timeline is also attached to this announcement as a .pdf file.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact evals@gcsu.edu.
