Staff Holiday Calendars for 2026 and 2027

Throughout the University System of Georgia, each institution is awarded 13 established paid holidays each calendar year in accordance with Board Policy 8.2.6 and state law. These paid holidays are provided to all benefit-eligible employees.

Following those guidelines, the GCSU Staff Holiday Calendars are planned in advance. The 2026 and 2027 Staff Holiday Calendars have been approved by Executive Cabinet and can be found at the following link:  https://www.gcsu.edu/humanresources/holiday.

Please review the calendars and make note of any campus closures for the upcoming years. Reminders will be sent out as we approach each closure.
