WGUR News Director Wins "Best News Feature" at Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) Awards

Ethan Mollenauer, a senior multimedia journalism and Spanish double major, won a "Best News Feature" award for his pre-election interview with GCSU President Cathy Cox.

This past weekend, several members of WGUR 95.3 FM's executive board attended the IBS - Intercollegiate Broadcasting System, Inc. annual conference in New York.

Mollenauer said, "I'm thrilled to have won this award and be recognized for some of the work I accomplished during my time as News Director with the station, and I'm incredibly thankful for the opportunity to hear from several industry professionals, including a legendary journalist, Al Roker of NBC's Today Show."
