Free Faculty Development Workshop (virtual), Friday, April 4: Teaching Asia Across the Curriculum & Region
Hosted by GCSU and co-sponsored with the University System of Georgia Asia Council, this free workshop will be offered on Friday, April 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Join GCSU's Dr. Flor Culpa-Bondal and Dr. Tsu-Ming Chiang, plus other scholars, as they explore a range of academic perspectives across East, South and Southeast Asia.
Schedule: 9:30 a.m. - 10:20 a.m. The Mongol Empire. 10:30 a.m. - 11:20 a.m., Indonesia as a Southeast Asian Regional Power. 11:30 a.m. - 12:20 p.m., Religious Traditions in India. 12:30 p.m. - 1:20 p.m., Chinese Art and 1:30 p.m. - 2:20 p.m., Teaching Earth Science in Japan.
