Bobcats earn No. 3 seed, will face Flagler to open PBC Tournament
AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University has qualified for the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Baseball Tournament that will begin play Friday (May 2) as the No. 3 seed.
For the third consecutive season, the PBC Tournament will be played over two weekends. The opening weekend of the event will be played at two sites and hosted by No. 1-seed University of North Georgia and No. 2 seed Lander University.
The No. 4 (Columbus State University), No. 5 (Georgia Southwestern State University) and No. 8 (Augusta University) seeds will play at North Georgia with the No. 3 (GCSU), No. 6 (Flagler College) and No. 7 (University of South Carolina-Aiken) seeds at Lander. Each site will be a four-team double-elimination bracket with two games Friday (May 2), three Saturday (May 3) and one or two Sunday (May 4). The remaining teams from each site will then meet for a best-of-three championship series May 8-9 at the highest remaining seed. This format mirrors the NCAA regional format.
The Bobcats will open the tournament at Dolny Stadium in Greenwood, South Carolina, against Flagler at 6:30 p.m. Friday (May 2), while Lander and USC Aiken will open the day at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person per day and must be purchased online in advance at https://peachbeltconference.org/sports/2020/10/14/tickets.aspx. Tickets will be available to be purchased beginning Wednesday (April 30). Children ages five and under, and students with a valid ID from a PBC school are admitted free.
All games of the PBC Tournament will be available via pay-per-view. The cost of the pay-per-view is $10 per game. There are also options for a pass for all games this weekend ($25) or an all-tournament pass that covers this weekend and next week's championship series ($40).

Friday's games:
Game 1 - No. 7 seed USC Aiken at No. 2 seed Lander, 3 p.m.
Game 2 - No. 6 seed Flagler vs. No. 3 seed GCSU, 6:30 p.m.
Saturday's games:
Game 3 - Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2, 11 a.m.
Game 4 - Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2, 2:30 p.m. (loser eliminated)
Game 5 - Loser Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4, 6 p.m. (loser eliminated)
Sunday's games
:
Game 6 - Winner Game 3 vs Winner Game 5, 1 p.m.
Game 7 - (if necessary) - Winner Game 6 vs, Loser Game 6, 30 minutes following game 6
