Guest, event and special parking policies - Effective July 1

New guest parking, event parking and special request parking policies will go into effect on July 1, 2025.

Guest Parking

• Three free guest permits are available every 60 days. After the three free permits have been used, a standard fee of $5 will be charged for each guest permit.
   
• Guest parking is no longer available in employee parking lots. 
   
• Guest parking is only available in the Irwin St., Centennial Center or West Campus parking lots.
   
• North Liberty St. and North Wilkinson St. spaces (free on a first-come, first-served basis).
   

Event Parking

• If an event has 20 or more attendees, they will be required to park at Irwin Street or the West Campus Athletic Field lot and either be shuttled in by a GCSU charter bus or a 14-passenger mini-shuttle that will be operated by a GCSU employee associated with the event.
   

Special Parking Requests

• A set fee of $25 per parking space per day will be charged for each special parking request. Special Parking Requests are only available on North Liberty St.
   
• Special Parking Requests are no longer available in the employee parking lots.
   
• All event and special parking requests must be submitted to the Parking and Transportation department at least two weeks in advance.
