Caldwell named to D2CCA All-Southeast Region first team

ANDERSON, S.C. | Georgia College & State University third baseman Kam Caldwell has been named to another all-region team.

Caldwell, who was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II All-Southeast Region second team earlier this month, has been named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Southeast Region first team.

Caldwell, a senior from Athens, Georgia, led the Bobcats in just about every offensive category. Caldwell, who was named to the 2025 NFCA Division II Player of the Year Watchlist, hit .401 (65-of-162) in 47 starts with 37 runs scored, 20 doubles, five triples, three home runs, and 38 RBI. The 2025 Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year and All-PBC first team honoree  had eight stolen bases with a .642 slugging percentage and a .462 on-base percentage. She is first in the Peach Belt in doubles per game (0.43), second in doubles, third in triples per game (0.11), fourth in triples, sixth in batting average, seventh in hits and eighth in total bases (105). She is also ranked fifth in NCAA Division II stats in doubles per game and ninth in doubles. Caldwell led the Bobcats in multi-hit (19) and multi-RBI (12) games, as well as the longest hitting streak (16) this season.

GCSU finished the 2025 season with a 23-24 overall record and in second place in the Peach Belt with a 14-10 mark.
