Human Resources update
During the summer months, The Office of Human Resources has filled three critical roles to better serve our campus constituents. As we start the new academic year, we would like to officially welcome:
- Eric Johansen, chief human resources officer
- Allison Wilkinson, recruitment and compensation consultant, serving in the Talent Management unit. This role will specialize in assisting managers with filling vacancies efficiently.
- Elizabeth Ruark, workplace relations consultant, serving in the Employee Relations and Benefits unit. This role will provide advice and counsel to campus leaders regarding policy, coaching, counseling and investigations, along with working with managers and staff to improve workplace relationships and facilitate productive communication to increase information conflict resolution.
Amy Phillips has been serving as the interim chief human resources officer since Jan. 8, 2025, and she will officially return to Kennesaw State on Sept. 1, 2025. The campus community is grateful for her service the past eight months, and we deem her an honorary Bobcat for life!
