Table Talk is back!

Table Talk is back!

So, what’s Table Talk? It’s a chance for students and faculty to share a meal at The MAX and have meaningful conversation about class, campus life or anything in between. The meal is free for participating students and faculty, sponsored by Auxiliary Services and Dining Services.

Here’s how it works:

1. Faculty: If you’ve used Table Talk before, you’re already in the system. New to it? Just contact the Bobcat Card Office and they’ll get you set up. Students: No action needed. If you’re enrolled in classes, you’re already eligible.

2. One meal per week, Monday through Saturday. Table Talk can be used once each week. If you try to participate again that same week, your card will be declined and you’ll need to pay for the meal.

3. One teaching faculty member with up to two students. The faculty member must have teaching status (not staff or administrative roles).

4. Check in together. All participants must present their Bobcat Cards at the cashier stand at the same time and let them know you’re using Table Talk. If the group is incomplete or cards aren’t available, the meal will not be covered.

5. Use it to build classroom connections. Table Talk isn’t intended for meetings with graduate assistants, student workers or family members.

We’re proud to offer this program as a way to strengthen the relationships between students and faculty. Please help us keep Table Talk running smoothly by following these simple guidelines.

This program is another way Auxiliary Services supports student success by creating opportunities for students and faculty to build relationships that can shape the college experience in lasting ways.
