GCSU Women's Cross Country selected fourth in PBC 

AUGUSTA, Ga. | The Peach Belt Conference preseason coaches poll for women's cross country has been released.
 
Georgia College & State University has been picked to finish fourth in the league.
 
Flagler College was the top pick in the women's poll as they collected nine first-place votes and 98 points, while Augusta University is second with 89. The University of North Georgia is third place with 84 points and was followed by Georgia College (75), Lander University (59), Clayton State University (51), University of South Carolina-Aiken (48), Columbus State University (42), University of South Carolina-Beaufort (26), Georgia Southwestern State University (17) and Middle Georgia State University (16).
 
Flagler has won the last seven Peach Belt titles. GCSU returns 11 runners from last year's fourth-place squad at the PBC meet.
 
The 2025 PBC Championship will be hosted by the Bobcats Oct. 25 at its Bobcat Country Course located on West Campus.
 
The Bobcats open the season Sept. 5 as GCSU will compete at the Converse Kick-off hosted by Converse University in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at 7 p.m.
