Men's Cross Country picked to finish third in Peach Belt in 2025 

AUGUSTA, Ga. | The Peach Belt Conference preseason coaches poll for men's cross country has been released.
 
Georgia College & State University has been picked to finish third in the league.
 
Augusta University was top choice in the poll of men's cross country coaches with six first-place votes and 62 points, while Flagler College was next at 59. GCSU was third with 50 points and was followed by Clayton State University (41), Columbus State University (29), Lander University (29), University of South Carolina-Aiken (27), University of South Carolina-Beaufort (15) and Georgia Southwestern State University (12).
 
Augusta won the PBC Championship for the recording-tying sixth time in a row. The Bobcats return eight runners their 2024 team that finished in third place at last year's championship, which was highest finish for GCSU since the 2021 championship.

The 2025 PBC Championships will be hosted by GCSU Oct. 25 at its Bobcat Cross Country Course located on West Campus.

The Bobcats open the season Sept. 5 when GCSU competes at the Converse Kick-off hosted by Converse University at the Milliken Research Park in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at 6:30 p.m.
