GCSU's Creative Writing Program Visiting Writers Series: Kerry Neville

Book Launch & Reading: Kerry Neville, Momma May Be Mad

Join us for the official launch of Georgia College & State University Creative Writing faculty member Kerry Neville’s new memoir, Momma May Be Mad, Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. in the Pat Peterson Museum Education Room (221 N. Clarke Street, Milledgeville). The evening will feature a reading by the author, followed by a Q&A and book signing.

Books will be available for purchase at the event and through Barnes & Noble on campus beginning Oct. 21. Momma May Be Mad is also available now for preorder through major retailers.

Kerry Neville is the author of Momma May Be Mad and two collections of short stories, Necessary Lies and Remember to Forget Me. Her fiction and nonfiction have appeared in The Gettysburg Review, Epoch, TriQuarterly, Brevity, The Washington Post and The Irish Times. She teaches in the MFA and undergraduate Creative Writing programs at Georgia College.

This event is free and open to the public and part of the GCSU Creative Writing Program’s Visiting Writers Series.
