Ellie Fuller named Peach Belt Player of the Week

AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University women's soccer forward Ellie Fuller has been named Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week ending Oct. 19.

The graduate student from Alpharetta, Georgia, scored three goals as the Bobcats won both matches last week to extend their unbeaten streak to eight (six wins, two ties). Fuller scored three goals off just three shots in the second half as GCSU downed Albany State University 5-0. Two of her goals came off corner kicks that curled inside the goal and the other was a rebound shot that the ASU goalkeeper couldn't corral as the Bobcats improved to 7-3-3 overall and to 5-0-2 in the Peach Belt.  It was the first hat trick for a GCSU player since Ali Amrozowicz scored three times against Christian Brothers University in October 2024.

The Bobcats will return to action Wednesday (Oct. 22) in Dahlonega, Georgia, where they will face nationally ranked University of North Georgia at 7 p.m. The match will feature the top two teams atop the table in the conference.
