Congratulations to the Fall 2025 Elevator Pitch Competition winners!

The top 20 were invited to compete in a final round competition for the chance to win cash prizes, sponsored by Central Garden & Pet and Fouts Bros Inc. All the students did a great job, and the competition was fierce!

The top five winners are:

1st Place- Evan Nichols - Management Major
2nd Place- Naveed Rezaei - Finance Major
3rd Place- Logan Stephens - Management Major
4th Place- Kyndall Carroll - Marketing Major
5th Place- Tyler Weatherford - Marketing Major

Please congratulate these talented students if you see them!

The Elevator Pitch Competition is a bi-annual, professional development activity for students in the College of Business & Technology that started in the fall of 2012. The Elevator Pitch prepares students for interviews and networking events by giving them skills in self-promotion and self-awareness and gives faculty a measure of oral communication skills used in assessment.

Thank you to all who helped make this competition possible, especially our faculty who included it in their courses including Kent Hill, Dr. Heather Patterson, Dr. Jeannie Pridmore, Dr. Cherie Rains, Dr. Mary Rickard, Dr. Chris Serafin, Denny Walton, Tucker Carl Balch and other graduate assistants for helping during Zoom competition week, leadership for continuing to support this event, and many thanks to Leigh MacLeod for helping to make this all possible through her constant dedication to our students.

It's different here.
