GCSU to face USC Aiken in first round of Peach Belt Tournament 

AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University will face the University of South Carolina-Aiken in the first round of the Peach Belt Conference Volleyball Tournament Friday (Nov. 21) at 7 p.m. in St. Augustine, Florida, on the Flagler College campus.

The Bobcats, who are 15-15 overall and 5-10 in the PBC, are seeded fifth in the tournament, while the Pacers, who are 15-15 and 6-9, are the tournament's No. 4 seed. The GCSU-USC Aiken winner will advance to Saturday's (Nov. 22) semifinals against No. 1 seed Flagler (19-12, 12-3) at 4:30 p.m. USC Aiken has defeated GCSU in two of the three meetings this season.

The other first round matches will pit the No. 7 seed Salem University (11-16) against No. 2 seed Augusta University (24-7, 12-3) at 2 p.m. Friday (Nov. 21) and No. 6 Middle Georgia State University (6-21, 0-15) facing No. 3 seed Lander University (18-9, 10-5) at 4:30 p.m. The winners from these two match will face each other in a 2 p.m. semifinal match Saturday (Nov. 22).

The championship match will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 23) with the winner earning the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Volleyball Tournament.

Tickets are $13 per person each day and must be purchased online in advance at  https://peachbeltconference.org/tournaments/?id=78. Children ages five and under, and students with a valid ID from a PBC school are admitted free.

All games of the PBC Tournament will be available via pay-per-view. The cost of the pay-per-view is $10 per game or a tournament pass can purchase for $25.
