Macroinvertebrates are marvelous!

Wait, what is a MACROINVERTEBRATE and why do I care? Macros are wonderful creatures that live below the surface of a stream or lake  They are excellent indicators of water quality and are often the larval forms of flying insects - like dragonflies!  Join Academic Outreach for a tabling event from 10:30 am until 12:30 p.m. this Thursday (Nov. 20) out by the A&S Fountain. We will have samples of macros, information about our water sampling events, and you can even make your very own stickers of macros to take with you!

See you there!
