Macroinvertebrates are MARVELOUS!

Wait, What is a MACROINVERTEBRATE and why do I care?!?!  Macros are wonderful creature that live below the surface of a stream or lake!  They are excellent indicators of water quality and are often the larval forms of flying insects - like dragonflies!  Join Academic Outreach for a tabling event from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm this Thursday (November 20) out by the A&S Fountain.  We will have samples of macros, information about our water sampling events and you can even make your very own stickers of macros to take with you!
