Mindful Monday for Nov. 24
The Mindful Monday for Nov. 24, as we enter the holiday season, is a reminder to prioritize rest. When we have many obligations and life feels busy, we often feel guilt or shame for resting. We might confuse rest for "laziness," but rest is sometimes more productive than continuing to spin our wheels at a breakneck pace. When we try to do too much, we risk burning out our bodies and minds.
This Thanksgiving week, show gratitude to yourself by allowing for moments of rest. Reflect on what you have already accomplished and take time to make a plan for achieving the rest of your goals for the year.
