AUGUSTA, Ga. | The Peach Belt Conference has announced that Georgia College & State University's Lilly Swanson has earned the league's Elite 18 Award for women's volleyball.

The PBC Elite 18 Award, which is modeled after the NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete Award (formerly known as the NCAA Elite 90 Award) is given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average at the championship.

Swanson, a junior setter from Acworth, Georgia, is the second GCSU volleyball player to earn the award and the first since 2016 when Katie Ray won it. Swanson, has a 4.00 cumulative grade-point average as an exercise science major with a minor in chemistry. She has played in eight matches and 20 sets for the Bobcats this season.
