Join your peers this Friday for a collaborative session on navigating the challenges and opportunities of AI in the classroom, facilitated by Drs. Cynthia Alby, Steve Elliott-Gower and Cara Smith.
- What: Designing and Assessing Students' Projects in the Age of AI: Integrating AI into the Flipped Classroom

During this session, we will explore:
- Redesigning Projects: Creating assignments that leverage AI as a tool rather than a shortcut.
- Assessment in the AI Era: Developing rubrics and other authentic assessments that prioritize process and critical thinking.
- The Flipped Classroom Model: Using AI to enhance pre-class preparation and maximize active learning during face-to-face time.
