LECO Mobile Chemistry Lab visits GCSU campus
Six Chemistry majors represented Georgia College & State University earlier this month in San Antonio, Texas, at PITTCON, the world's largest analytical chemistry conference.
Not only did the students successfully present their projects, but also represented GCSU in networking with numerous companies and organizations. One of the companies - LECO Mobile Analytical Labs - is making a special stop in Milledgeville on Tuesday, March 24, from 3 to 4:40 p.m. The LECO Mobile Lab will be parked as the Bell Hall bus stop and available for students to tour.
According to LECO, any interested students are welcome to tour the Mobile Lab to learn about “elemental analysis via combustion, TGA, GC-TOFMS, and automated Vicker hardness testing which are heavily used in industries in Georgia.”
