Call for Nominations for 2026-2027 Executive Council Positions

We are currently seeking nominations for Officers of the Georgia College Retiree Association, specifically for Vice-Chair and Secretary/Treasurer. 

Vice-Chair 2026/2027

• performs the duties of the Chair in the event of their absence, resignation, or inability to perform,  
• coordinates both the program portion of the GCRA meetings and the luncheon meetings of the GCRA
• is a three-year commitment: year one serves as the Chair-Elect, year two assumes the Chair position, year three serves on the Executive Council as immediate past chair. 

Secretary/Treasurer 
The Secretary/Treasurer will serve one year, subject to re-election for subsequent years.

• takes minutes of meetings of both the GCRA and the Executive Council and prepares them for publication, 
• assists the Executive Council in drafting GCRA correspondence as requested,
• assists the Executive Council in the budgetary aspects of the GCRA as requested

Nominations will be presented for election by an electronic vote or by paper ballot at the GCRA event on May 19, 2026.
