Competitive Study Abroad opportunity: Spain (Erasmus+) – Nominations due April 16

Georgia College & State University faculty are invited to submit student nominations for the Erasmus+ KA171 program at the University of Valladolid for the 2026–2027 academic year.

This is a funded exchange opportunity in Valladolid, Spain, with two (2) spots available for GCSU students.

Student Eligibility:

  • Undergraduate or graduate students
  • B2 (upper-intermediate) Spanish proficiency preferred


Academic Details:

  • Courses available in both English and Spanish
  • Offerings span a variety of academic disciplines


Program Term Options:

  • September 2026 – February 2027
  • February 2027 – July 2027


Funding Includes:

  • €850/month (up to 5 months) for housing and living expenses
  • €1,188 travel grant (one-time payment toward airfare)
  • Health insurance meeting Spanish visa requirements
  • Full tuition and fee waiver at the University of Valladolid


This opportunity provides students with a high-impact international experience at minimal cost.
