Join us for GCSU's Department of Public Safety State Agency Certification Ceremony

The Georgia College & State University Department of Public Safety is honored to invite you to join us for the State Agency Certification Ceremony on April 21, 2026, at 9 a.m. on the front lawn of the Hall House.

This occasion represents a truly meaningful milestone for our department. State Agency Certification, awarded through the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, reflects our commitment to meeting the highest professional standards in law enforcement operations, policy, training and accountability.

We are especially honored to have remarks from President Cathy Cox, Dr. Kerry Stallings, representing the University System of Georgia, and Ed Densmore, representing the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, who will help us recognize the significance of this achievement.

This accomplishment is shared with our entire campus community. Your support, partnership and commitment to a safe and welcoming environment have been essential in helping us reach this point. For that, we are sincerely grateful.
