Rachel Black, Victoria Conde Vendrell named to All-Peach Belt squad

AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University women's tennis players Rachel Black and Victoria Conde Vendrell have been named to the All-Peach Belt Conference second team.

Black was named to the second team in singles and doubles, while Conde Vendrell was named the second team in doubles. It is the second all-conference accolade for Black as she was named to the second team in doubles in 2025.

Black, a sophomore from Valdosta, Georgia, has a 12-9 ledger at No. 1 singles for the Bobcats. Black teamed up with Conde Vendrell, a senior from Paris, France, at No. 1 doubles to compile a 15-6 mark.

The Bobcats return to action Friday (April 24) at the 2026 Peach Belt Conference Women's Tennis Tournament that will be held in Columbus, Georgia. GCSU, which is the No. 5 seed in the single-elimination tournament, faces No. 4 seed and No. 37 nationally Middle Georgia State University in a 9 a.m. quarterfinal match at the John W. Walden Tennis Center.
