Guest Artist Recital: Khary Wilson, tenor- Journeys Through Time and Space

Monday, Oct. 26 The GCSU Music Department presents a Guest Artist Recital, “Journey Through Time and Space,” featuring Dr. Khary Wilson, tenor and pianist Dr. Lev Ryabinin at 7:30 p.m. in the Max Noah Recital Hall at Georgia College & State University.  This recital traces the vast expressive potential of the classical vocal tradition, moving from the sacred profundity of Bach’s Benedictus and the Romantic lyricism of Schubert into the nuanced reflections of French art song by Poulenc. The Journey spans styles, concluding with contemporary settings that highlight the powerful intersection of vocal technique and conscious perception. This concert will also be livestreamed on www.youtube.com/@gcsumusicdept A $5 donation is encouraged.
