Reminder - Mandatory Recruitment Training for all Search Committee members

Georgia College & State University Human Resources is excited to roll out a streamlined recruiting process designed specifically for our campus community. This isn't just an update— it's a revamp of how we bring new talent into our Bobcat family!

This mandatory recruitment training is essential for anyone involved in the hiring process. All employees must attend this training to serve on a search committee. Space is limited for each training session, so please sign up and hold the time on your calendar. 

The dates and locations are provided below:

🗓️ Date: Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026
⏰ Time: 9:30 a.m.
📍 Location: Pat Peterson Education Room

🗓️ Date: Friday, Aug. 28, 2026
⏰ Time: 2 p.m.
📍 Location: Pat Peterson Education Room

Participation is required for anyone who is recruiting or serving on a search committee within the next year. Even if you have participated in recruitment training prior to 2026, you must complete the new training before conducting any new searches in 2026.

*If you have attended an in-person training from January 2026 – June 2026, you have met the requirements. Please reach out if you need to verify attendance for you or a potential search committee member. No one can serve on a search committee without this training. *
