Important Reminder: Holiday Calendar and Friday, July 3

As we approach the July 4th Holiday weekend, we want to provide a quick reminder regarding our upcoming schedule. Since Independence Day falls on Saturday this year, our campus will remain open, and we will observe regular business hours this coming Friday, July 3.

To ensure everyone still receives 13 paid holidays as outlined by USG Policy and as allowed for State of Georgia employees in accordance with state law, this year’s Independence Day holiday has been deferred to Christmas Eve. By observing the Independence Day holiday on Thursday, Dec. 24, we avoid a “campus closure” for this date, which typically requires employees to use accrued vacation leave or go uncompensated.
