Build Connections with Table Talk

Build Connections with Table Talk

Table Talk gives students and faculty the opportunity to share a free meal at The MAX and connect through conversation about class, campus life or anything else. Meals are provided through Auxiliary Services and Dining Services.

How it works:

  • Faculty: If you've participated before, you're already set up. New faculty can contact the Bobcat Card Office to enroll. Students: No action is needed — currently enrolled students are automatically eligible.

  • One meal per week: Table Talk may be used once each week, Monday through Saturday.

  • Group size: One teaching faculty member may dine with up to two students.

  • Check in together: Everyone must present their Bobcat Cards at the cashier at the same time and let staff know you're using Table Talk.

  • Purpose: Table Talk is designed to encourage meaningful conversations between teaching faculty and students. It is not intended for meetings with graduate assistants, student workers or family members.

Table Talk is one of the many ways Auxiliary Services supports student success by creating opportunities for students and faculty to build lasting connections.
