Executive Forum - Leading Through Change: Building a Resilient Business
You’re invited to the Executive Forum Leading Through Change: Building a Resilient Business on Monday, Sept. 28, at 5:30 p.m.
We are excited to welcome back Bobcat alumna Ms. Sara Murph, chief financial officer and partner at Parrish Construction Group, to our campus. We invite students, faculty, staff and the Milledgeville community to a special Executive Forum featuring Ms. Murph. The Executive Forum includes networking time with beer and wine, dinner and an inspiring fireside chat with Ms. Murph.
Register today for the Executive Forum with Sara Murph.
The conversation will be led by Associate Professor of Management, Dr. Aric Wilhau, for what promises to be an engaging evening.
In addition to her bachelor’s degree in business and information technology and a Master of Business Administration from GCSU, Murph is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a licensed General Contractor. Murph was a member of the Leadership Georgia Class of 2019 and was recognized in 2025 as one of Georgia Trend’s 40 Under 40, honoring young leaders across the state. She is deeply committed to serving her community and has been involved in numerous civic and philanthropic organizations across Middle Georgia.
Join us for a candid discussion about how under her organization has navigated significant growth and organizational change while maintaining financial discipline, operational alignment and a strong company culture. The conversation will reflect on the decisions, challenges and lessons involved in adapting the business, developing leaders and positioning the company for long-term success.
Students will have an opportunity to meet Ms. Murph during drop-in sessions on both Tuesday, Sept. 29, and Wednesday, Sept. 30, as well as during her campus-wide open session panel moderated by the president of the Dean’s Student Advisory Board on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 5 p.m. in the Pat Peterson Museum Education Room.
