Become a Peer Feedback on Teaching Observer

The Center for Teaching and Learning is seeking faculty interested in becoming trained Peer Feedback on Teaching observers. PFoT provides faculty with formative, collegial feedback on their teaching through classroom observation and reflection.

Observer training will prepare you to support colleagues through the PFoT process while strengthening your own skills in observing, discussing and reflecting on effective teaching practices. By becoming a PFoT facilitator, you'll provide a valuable service to your colleagues and the university while helping foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and student-centered teaching.

Current and former Instructor Peer Coaching cohort members are especially encouraged to participate. Because the PFoT and IPC processes share a similar focus on collegial observation, reflection and constructive feedback, your IPC experience provides a strong foundation for serving as a PFoT observer.
