Banned Books Week at Russell Library

Let Books Be: A Freedom-to-Read Drive — Stop by the second floor of the library during Banned Books Week to take a stand for the freedom to read. GCSU's newly relaunched Amnesty International chapter, part of the national Banned Books Week Coalition, is hosting a letter-writing station where you can send a message to your elected representatives supporting open access to books. Browse a display of banned and challenged titles, find out why they were targeted and add your voice. Everyone's welcome — the freedom to read belongs to all of us.
