Georgia Collegiate Honors Conference and the Southern Regional Honors Conference: Call for Proposals

The Honors College will host the Georgia Collegiate Honors Conference at GCSU on Feb. 26-27, 2027, and the Honors College will take students to the Southern Regional Honors Conference in Orlando, Florida from March 31 to April 4, 2027.

Honors students may present original scholarship/creative work that they have completed/have underway for any course, Honors or not. And they may naturally present Honors option projects that they have completed/have underway. The project could be from last fall, last spring, or this fall.

To Honors students: If you are interested in participating, please complete the interest form by Dec. 1, 2027.

To faculty: If you have worked or are currently working with Honors students whose scholarship and/or creative work would be a good fit for a conference presentation (or an exhibit), please encourage them to participate.

GCHC and SRHC are great venues for students to present their work in a friendly environment, build their resume, and expand their professional network.

Please direct any questions to Dean Brian Newsome (brian.newsome@gcsu.edu).
