"Why GCSU?": Benefits of the Liberal Arts Experience

The year marks the 30th anniversary of GCSU being designated as the public liberal arts university within the USG. The purpose of this workshop is to highlight how students benefit from the liberal arts experience, identify reasons why students chose to attend GCSU, and discuss how faculty can include liberal arts concepts within their courses. Research findings conducted with GCSU students will be highlighted, and through hands-on activities instructors will gain practical suggestions for their classes and programmatic areas.
