We will host our third annual Venture Capital Challenge (VC-Squared) on Research Day this year. April 16 form 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. We will give students the chance to toss their business ideas to a group of judges Shark Tank style in a five minute pitch, with up to a five minute Q&A afterwards. Dr. Kasey Karen will discuss the work of Drs. Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun, who were awarded the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physiology/Medicine for the discovery of microRNA and its role in post-transcriptional gene regulation. This event is open to all students.
