The Criminal Justice Program is conducting a reentry simulation Friday, April 12, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. in the Pat Peterson Museum Education Room in the library. This simulation was developed by the Department of Justice to simulate the struggles and challenges faced by individuals who are transitioning from incarceration back into society. Dr. Scott Buchanan, professor of Political Science and department chair of Government and Sociology, will be giving a book talk on Wednesday evening, 10 April, at 6 p.m. at Georgia's Old Governor's Mansion. Dr. Buchanan is the co-author of the only book devoted to one of the more unusual political controversies in the history of Georgia--and perhaps in the nation's history.
